The question came to my mind, so the question is this: “How can I dump the Steam (PC) applications and other software?” If it sounds stable, it would be legitimate.
There is a work-in-progress Steam emulator “SmartSteamEmu,” but there is another Steam emulator “SmartSteamEmu Reborn.” I cannot tell which Steam emulator is more accurate. Also, I cannot tell which Steam emulator has more hardware or software peripherals.

It's a good question, and some progress has been made with manifest hashing to create "reproducible" dumps.
However, for PC datting, I would strongly suggest investing time and effort into hashing and properly documenting GOG first and cleaning up those dats (currently not metadata entered properly) for what exists currently. Much lower hanging fruit
