Splitting protos into seperate dats?

It might be time to consider this again. There are a *lot* of prototype dumps now, and usually dats are split by the "origin" of the dumps. It seems to me that "retail carts" and "proto carts" could be considered as separate origins - each one does have its own idiosyncrasies of how to identify different versions etc. The Proto/Beta tags would still remain, they would just be in a separate datfile.
