I just had a big collection of Wii U CDN/eShop files, using one of the known tools to download all these files year after year.
Now I decided to use no-intros DAT file to kinda sort my eShop collection.
Well, I did that using clrmamepro - renaming, fixing, all that stuff.
Now nearly all my eShop/CDN are renamed to files without any file extension - not working to install on my Wii U by using nusspli.
Did someone of the no-intro guys test this DAT file before releasing it? Cause its "destroying" all the h3, app and tmd filenames.
Sorry to hear that. But it sounds like the DAT file is behaving as intended.
Using a ROM manager always has the risk of losing data (or at least metadata like filenames) - you should always make sure you know what its going to do (in terms of the dat manager settings and the particular datfile you chose to use) before running it on your files.
However in this case, you may be able to recover your previous filenames (or something close to them), as its just a simple change (removing .app extensions and renaming "title.tmd" files to "tmd.#"). I can make a batch script to do this if you want.
Although keep in mind that these aren't "incorrect" filenames - that's how they are stored on he Nintendo CDN. It'd probably be a good idea if nuspli added support for this filename format.
