GBA Cart Question

I have a cart that I recently bought and it turns out that it is pirated. I'm curious to know if it's worth dumping or if it is just a regular game duplicated.
The game is Sword Of Mana (US) and I did a side by side back of the cart comparison to an official game. It does read "Nintondo".

The back is not a reliable way to tell.

There's two good ways to tell, both are easy.

1) Tilt the cart up and look at the circuit board. If you see NINTENDO in white letters, it's genuine.

2) Imprinted in every cart are at least 2 numbers, and occassionally a letter. You generally have to look at a cart in good light to see it. It's usually on the right side. Genuine carts have this and pirates don't. This is NOT the AGB-XXXX-XXX or anything like that. It'll be like 09A or 18 or 99C or whatever.

But.. sorry for noticing, but your own cart is first one?

I can read Nintendo, just with the "e" a little bit smooth up. But i fear it's an e as well, just a little bit consumed or usured by signs of time and oldness :)

In good light it is defiantly an 'Nintondo', the scan didn't come out so great. It also didn't have anything printed on the inside of the bottom near the pins. I never paid it any attention I guess but when you turn it on, it starts with:
"Mode Seven
The Story Continues With Another Fine Release..."
I completely forgot about that until I just tested the game just now. I assume 'Mode Seven' is a release group?

I noticed one other thing I just noticed on the back of that top cart. Look at the serial.

AGB-022. The carts are always AGB-002.
It also didn't have anything printed on the inside of the bottom near the pins.
Yeah, if you don't see anything or see something that doesn't say NINTENDO on the circuit board, it's pirate.

OMG! Please MatthewCallis, go to wikipedia.org and start a page called "Pirate Cart" and describe your case.

LOL just kidding, of course.
