As I told Xuom, I think is time to change the initial description in the main site introduction, to make more focus on the role of No-Intro as a videogaming preservation group and not only as a "Dat rom keeper" or at least, help us not connecting "No-Intro" to "rom distribution packs" or "rom piracy".

I left here a Word with a little draft to start with, I hope opinions from all sides. Please, be nice with criticisms, I only wrote this to be a start for others to give opinions.

As long as rom sets go under the name "no-intro sets", you won't be changing the connection. In fact, I'd argue disconnecting the two would have harmful effects like mass confusion. Not that it could be done.
People see "no-intro" in the name, they know the stuff is good. The fact we overtook Goodsets, something that had "Good" in its name shouldn't be looked at as being a bad thing.
I'd say the current site intro is fine as is. The most I'd do is add a link to the VGPC discord to the top so people can have a more direct line of access than needing to email xuom.
If there's anything that would be nice to solve, it's the awkward split between no-intro and redump. It would be nice for VGPC to have one universal database to contribute to instead of encompassing two separate communities without a clear distinction to new people. Though I guess that's being looked into.

Also I don't think that suggesting there is a link between No-Intro and piracy is going to reduce that perception (not that I think that perception really exists - the actual releasing of the latest games is done by scene groups, not No-Intro), I think it would increase it.
