I just receveid my Beggar Prince, I'll add it to the new dat but I'll not distribute he rom cause the compagny who release the game have done a superbe work, so if you want to play, buy the game.
Logically the rom name will be :
Beggar Prince (JUE) (UNL).md

More news this week-end.

I don't like the idea of including non released (=hoarded) entries in the dat. But have it your way.

Me neither but the rom had to be in the dat and I really don't want to release it.
But if someone want to ...
If that really disturb many datters of No-Intro, I'll not include it in the next dat.

Can you make a data that have the .bin as well?

.bin roms can be loaded on Gen and Gen32.

.md roms can't be loaded on Gen. This is why I ask to make a data for .bin as well.

Gen32 can loaded .md and .bin.

If you ask me then the .bin will be more useful for Gen and Gen32 anyway.

Just rename them to .bin yourself. It was already decided a while back the .md should be used.

Over all the .md that I have. I pass. No problem. I just use the Gen32 then. :)

If I find a game that doesn't work on Gen32 then I will rename it to .bin and use the Gen.

It seem that I only found a program (Gen32) that will load the .md only. I don't know what else will run those in .md yet.

I do not get the point. If you included in the dat and do not released the rom then anyone would have the complete set neither it sould have happened you lost the card and the rom and never ever it see the light.

In this case I said your work is absolutely useless and for me is just that you want to be in a center of attention.
In fact none collector of the roms buy the game for that they love it. It is just matter of time someone have another copy for the dump.

If they don't get a fair chance of selling the game, an effort such as this will never be taken anymore. And don't worry about the ROM and the cart getting lost. That is just a useless argument to get the dump anyway.

"I share all the roms but the guys at No-Intro are hoarding"
NGEfreak has already stated he would no longer include hoarded roms, and I believe Solid & Bigfred share that point of view. Dunno about xuom2. I don't mind whether this rom is released or not. But releasing dats for uncompletable sets is another story

i am not a fan of unreleased roms in dats, we will start to get into the horrible neogeo situation...is it released, isn't it...who has hoarded who hasn't...who is in the inner circle who isn't :)
i appreciate not wanting to release the rom, so just leave it out of the dat

others may disagree, but just my thought

really appreciate all the work done by the datters / dumpers, i can only imagine how much time and effort (and money!) goes into it all - so thanks.

Yep... better if you don't include it in the DAT... and i agree with not releasing the ROM... it's too new, and the guys do deserve to get some cash out of a well done job !

That is bad thought. I even do not know after the post what game is it or where the game was/is released. It is my general opinion.

After post I seached the internet and found what is it.
Anyway it is usesless work to dump the cart and put it in the dats if the dumper will not released it.

Should it be call "[MegaDrive] Panorama Cotton (J).zip" since it from MegaDrive?

Here another simple here. "[Genesis] Aladdin (E).zip" from Genesis. :?

DarkDancer told me that there are alot of roms that isn't listed in this data that been dump and send to ACOMPAL China. (No link and find those yourself on google.)

===Edit

Ok I think the MegaDriive and Genesis use the same carts. I think I understand now.
