How to Merge No-Intro-Sets

Post by rpg4e »

It's been 6 years since I updated and merged my sets. Unfortunately I don't remember how that works anymore.

I know that the "GoodMerge" program was involved, as well as XMDBs, which were probably based on Cowering's GoodTools.

Can someone help me? For example, I can't find any XMDBs for the current no-intro DATs.
Is there any way to convert the P/C XML No-Intro DATs to XMDB and then use the result in GoodMerge?
Or is there perhaps even a way to do this with RomCenter? ( I'm not at all familiar with clrmamepro and would need step-by-step instructions... )

There are different rommanagers these days, most used is clrmamepro and romvaulth these days. Myself i'm using Romvault to handle my dumps, it takes some time to learn but once your working with it it's really nice and fast. For help i would suggest to search on youtube since there are helpvideo's made for beginners and the discord is also very helpfull.

Hope this helps.
