When it comes to decrypted stuff like from the 3DS or all the CDN stuff.
Every time you decrypt them, they can come up with different files but all of them are equally valid for playing the game as far as I know.
Couldn't someone create a program to decrypt them where they decrypt the exact same way every time and then allow dats to be made off of that decryption method of the original encrypted content?
Question about decrypted content.

Try https://github.com/SabreTools/NDecrypt for the decryption.

I don't get where such information come from. You have encrypted content and you have keys to decrypt. The result is always the same and you easily can convert ANY encrypted ROM to decrypted and vice versa.

Re: Question about decrypted content.
Understood.
I noticed when I would decrypt and compress content for Wii U the result could very by a few kb even though the settings on it were all the same and I read that the issue with decrypted content for auditing was that the results were different per person.
Was under the impression that the results were varying pretty much every time like it was using something random as part of the decompression. I guess I was incorrect in that assumption.
And thank you for the NDecrypt link. Was wondering how to decrypt and make them match.
