Final 3DS game dumped!

What is assumed to be the final 3DS game has been released.

I have to say, it's a little sad. 3DS had a great run!

I would say never declare a console finished because you never know when someone is going to put out some random shovelware game down the line.

... but seeing as we've had hardly any new content lately (Nintendo's last games were two remakes of previous gen games plus a translation of a two and half year old RPG) and there's digital for random shovelware, it's less likely than in previous generations.
(I mean, on the DS the last "major" game was Pokemon BW2 in 2012, but there was some Disney Frozen game in like 2014 I think and some NBA... card game, was it? thing. I don't think it was a typical sports game.)

Possibly, at least no more titles are confirmed as of now.

It appears we are done with physical releases indeed. Maybe this even defines the end of the handheld era itself now that mobile phones and Nintendo Switch have taken over which is a bit sad.

However there is one thing left - we are still waiting for the final Shovel Knight addon "King of Cards". For me the library is not complete without this. Unlike PS4 or Switch there won't be a physical release of the complete package unfortunately.

The Limited Run games collection is technically just a physical release of eShop games BUT sure, it still counts as another game that can be dumped.
