Speaking of which, I have a couple of roms to release that I have had for a while. However, I don't have my local Snes Central stuff up correctly yet, and my backup files are in storage. Anyone have docs on how to set up Apache to point towards a local website?
uh, I don't think it's very wise to do that unless you 100% know how to setup Apache's security
There really isn't any security issue considering that things are run locally.

Speaking of which, I got it up and running locally, so I should be able to start updating again, assuming I can remember my ftp login information.

I want to buy/order my new scanner this week. My old one has been busted for a while now and I will just to lazy to replace it.
I'm thinking about buying a Canon CanoScan 8800F. I want it for cart/PCB/box scanning and for digitalizing my large collection of old photos. Perhaps a model below this would also do, but I definately want a good one.
Money is not a problem, but 200 Euros is the max I want to spend for it.
Any ideas/experiences with this or similar scanners?

I updated my PCB lists if anyone is interested:

So far, I have 30 PCB types. I will be updating this as I scan things, so pay attention to my forum if you want to keep up to date.

I also have been updating my cart label scans database. I have over 40 done so far.

LOL, it has been over 10 years since I made this thread (I don't even remember what the deal was with Y~K). Anyways, I have example scans of every single US and PAL game on the site now, and in total have over 1800 PCB scans and 158 board types, mostly coming from byuu, Kester W and myself. Looking back, I don't think I have added any of the No Intro scans onto the site, but perhaps it could be done if there is a way to extract them easily. Getting all the Japanese games is going to be a challenge (so far only about 200 are there).
