Thanks for the update. I dated and renamed the ROMs that confirmed previous VC dumps.

Added the 5.1.0 updates. Same as for SNES ones. Several new ones, but all known already (source tag for the dat entries maybe)

BUT. One thing was going on my nerves. These long pending two unknown ones. (CLV-P-NAAHE.nes and CLV-P-HAAHJ.nes I am talking about) So I did some tinkering with these. Well, I mostly just compared to the already known "Excitebike (Japan, USA) (Virtual Console).nes". I have no clue why, but these two are sandwiched with a header and a footer:
NAAHE_head.PNG
NAAHE_foot.PNG
HAAHJ_head.PNG
HAAHJ_foot.PNG
Removing these AND fixing the iNES header (someone ate the MS-DOS end-of-file) from:
4E 45 53 00 02 01 03 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
to:
4E 45 53 1A 02 01 03 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

...we have a identical ROM for JAP and USA variant and it is as expected a Excitebike in working and booting AND a unknown one, too. One Byte diff though.

Thanks, I added Excitebike. The other file you have listed as unknown, fds_bios_no_wait.bin with CRC32: 1C7AE5D5, is the same as this. https://datomatic.no-intro.org/index.ph ... =31&n=0175.

But can you please check the FDS BIOS in the latest updates? I get a new CRC32 of 1EC0EA7F.

I extracted the two BIOS files off NES and Famicom Switch Online and first, they are identical.

So there are these two for me:

Name: fds_bios.bin aka "[BIOS] Family Computer Disk System (Japan) (Rev 1).bin"
Größe: 8192 Bytes (8 KiB)
CRC32: 5E607DCF
CRC64: 94E791A2FC65E841
SHA256: 99C18490ED9002D9C6D999B9D8D15BE5C051BDFA7CC7E73318053C9A994B0178
SHA1: 57FE1BDEE955BB48D357E463CCBF129496930B62
BLAKE2sp: 0BB08CC04AB82F2DE0AE2304C7266E784F2F59A8D3135961371D81A90212A6C5

Name: fds_bios_no_wait.bin aka "[BIOS] Family Computer Disk System (Japan).bin"
Größe: 8192 Bytes (8 KiB)
CRC32: 1C7AE5D5
CRC64: C424C2BB86486403
SHA256: FDC1A76E654FEEA993FCB38366E05EE5F4EB641F86FE6BEBAEEFD412E112DD72
SHA1: AF5AF53F66982E749643FDF8B2ACBB7D4D3ED229
BLAKE2sp: B66669D021AE7D21BD05062A979AE6A608A48C8E49071B287073224AB3A342BE

So for me it never changed since I first extracted it. See my 1st post. But good to know that I should have tested the BIOSes more often... This one will be removed off the unknown list then. But first when your checksum difference compared to mine is resolved.

The two BIOS files are already in the FDS dat. Never mind the checksum in my previous post, it was corrupted.

Updated to v1572864 aka 5.3.0

Ninja Jajamaru-kun (World) (Ja) (Virtual Console).nes was added to both language variations. Maybe the (Virtual Console) needs a lil addition for Switch Online. Rest all is green and fine.

Updated the USA/EU NES Switch Online to v1638400. There seems to be no update for Japan, but even in the USA/EU one is no change ROM wise. So, nothing new to see here.
