About overpriced DS games left to fix

Post by diego-rbb »

After all this storm generated by Nintendo conducting to RomSheperd disappearance, some bad thoughts that i feared long long ago has been confirmed... RS death only contributes to a fragmented community till we find a new place. And some games can start to be difficult to get if we let the time goes by without chasing them. Thats what ive been trying to fix on PSP and Wii Redump... As well as DS No-Intro.

I was really thankful to arrive to the preservation scene in a moment when most of the Nintendo's contents were getting really close to end.

We have the NES fullset with a great preservation quality. SNES is getting a big kick thanks to Byuu's project. Nintendo 64 has most of the fullset nearly done and i hope the Glover cart that shipped to my house is the Rev.1, so we can complete the PAL set, with the exception of asian Top Gear Rally. Wii just saw today USA and Japan completed today at 99,9% (only 1 game is pending from USA, will be added soon) and PAL zone has achieved 83% of the set added, and will continue rising up.

I dont want to dig too much on GB or GBA, but its state is good. And finally, DS was the critic point with these Bad Dumps that, time after time, get solved one by one.

As much as ive wanted to fix or add all the stuff i was able to reach on Europe, ive found so many times certain games in the last year that only a few years ago were really cheap and now the price went up without any sense.

So thats what i want to change, and i would like to ask for your help. Right now, these are the 3 games that i know, are priced really bad:

3507 - Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It)
3196 - Time Hollow (Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It)
5649 - Sailor Moon - La Luna Splende (Italy)

I wanted you guys to confirm me if there's any other title left to fix whose price went bad.

I can confirm im going to ask for funds to buy Enchanted Folk on Cex UK, where the game is still "cheap" for 30 pounds and only 1,50 pounds for shipping. Exchanging it again on Cex will give the owner 20 pounds that will help to fix other games that are not that "shovelware" like most of the names in the list:

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2546

About Time Hollow, i can confirm a friend will send me on January a copy for fixing it.

Worst problem is Sailor Moon. I have my friend Tony Lizard on Italy that can buy and try to dump, but the game is like 55 euros. We are looking for better prices.

I hope you guys take a look the European list and give me your thoughts about it, including USA and Japan problems. Thanks for the atention!

Hopefully it won't get to the point like it was for the NES, where it cost $1000 to fix Stadium Events' bad dump.

You're right most system are in a healthy state, and much has happend the last year. :)

For NDS there used to be 2000 bad dumps, now there are about 500. I don't follow the prices for NDS games, so I can't comment on what are the expensive games. I could donate some euros toward a specific buy.

I would apreciate it a lot!!!!!!! For the moment, i want to ask one of our dumpers in UK (ill probably ask Ribshark) to buy from Cex webshop a copy of Enchanted Kid, once i get all the money (31.50 pounds).

After reading No Intro history, i discovered this italian web that is in brotherhood with No Intro. I told Tony Lizard to ask for help about Sailor Moon.

In the main future im going to do a last bunch of fixes for DS by myself (spending my own money) , specially the ones co-ita-spa. But i wont be going too far because most of the stuff non fixed is the sholverware left (like Petz) and i would like to spend money only on valuable stuff right now.

She traded the game to GameStop some months ago

I'm very sorry, If I only knew it before...

Update: The gamestop italy website report a store 10 minutes from where i work that has a new one for little less than 20 euro
they are closed on monday morning so can't verify, but i can check later and buy it

Hi good news
GameStop sucks... the website was reporting the shop having one as new instead was used and without the plastic shell, just the card and the manual, but i managed to get it for 14 euro

I have already dumped it with a 3ds and GodMode 1.7.1, now how i have to submit the data?

Hi

Cart serial is: NTR-BXLI-IT
On car's back: NTR-005 and BXLIN0J34
The barcode on instruction booklet: NBXLIITA1M

For the internal serial involves breaking the shell... let me think a bit :sdrop:

You dont have to if you dont want. You dont need to "break" the case card, it can be separated and then re-glued.

Please, if you are able, send me in private the game if you are so kind. I would like to see if the fixed file is compatible with the english patch (unless you want to make an Xdelta patch for fixing the bad dump).

Thanks so much, Benny thanks SO MUCH!

Just wanted to say that my spanish collector mate still wants to send me Time Hollow but he still has to receive it from a friend (they have some kind of deal between them about buying stuff in their cities and sending it to each other when the time comes).

I hope it doesnt take too long to fix it! But... In case Pussycat releases a fix before im able to dump it, i will still do a clean dump to confirm is ok.
