Updating local DAT files

Post by nitro322 » 14 Feb 2020 01:46

I suspect the answer here is "no", at least for non-datters, but is there any sanctioned method of automatically or programmatically retrieving the latest DAT versions to update my local collection. Manually, selecting, generating, and downloading them one at a time is a chore. It looks like dat-o-matic is designed to thwart casual batch downloading, so even if I could script my way around it I won't because that seems to be undesired behavior.

So with that said, is there any approved or sanctioned way to do batch updates? or do I just need to continue to update manually?

I confirm, datomatic doesn't offer that automatic feature. You can download the daily pack to do 1 download instead of X.

Daily pack works for me. Never noticed that option before. Thanks!
